In 2018, the Association of Chateau Liteň realized the 7^th annual
of Jarmila Novotná Festival 2018.

SONG SPRINGS – SONG RECITAL
OF MARTINA JANKOVÁ
We organized a song recital of Martina Janková consisting of Janáček´s folk songs through which she payed a tribute to her home country. The presence and support of this famous international soprano for our festival is one of the most important steps in 2018. This gala concert was the top of this year’s festival and took place on September 9 in Čechovna Hall located in the Chateau Liteň area, in cooperation with pianist Ivo Kahánek and Ensemble FLAIR.

INTERPRETATION COURSES IN LITEŇ 2018
Martina Janková also lead the 5^th year of the singing courses in Liteň. This was her first course and she cooperated with mezzo-soprano Markéta Cukrová. The courses took place on August 20–24. There was one more novelty – the final concert was directed by an opera director Marek Mokoš, was open-air, and held in different parts of chateau park. 

GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH OF DAUBEK FAMILY
We have started a project focused on genealogical research of Daubek family
at Liteň manor in the time of the independent Czechoslovakia. We would like
to map and document the area of patriotism, entrepreneurship, social and cultural life but also art context.

TOURING EXHIBITION ABOUT THE LIFE OF JARMILA NOVOTNÁ 2018
The touring exhibition continued in a new place again. The large-scale pictures with biographical data of this legendary singer were presented at Bookstore and Antique Shop Fryč in Liberec throughout the month of April.

LITEŇ FRENCH HORN DAYS
In 2018, Liteň became the center of interpretation parade of French hornists and our association played a role of a co-organizer. The first Liteň French Horn Days invited on April 28–29 people to five concerts and set the foundation for a new musical tradition.
