The Fourteenth Season of the Jarmila Novotná Festival in 2025

In 2025, the Jarmila Novotná Festival presents a program that celebrates not only the legacy of one of the world’s most acclaimed operatic legends, but also offers a rich spectrum of cultural experiences ranging from music to the visual arts. Visitors can look forward to the traditional Spring Academy of Horn Players of the Czech Philharmonic, a gala concert of the interpretation courses, and an Advent musical finale to the season. This year’s restoration of the sala terrena will introduce a new venue for chamber concerts. The bright Orangery will once again come alive with exhibitions of visual art, much of it created directly at Liteň Château. Come and experience an atmosphere that brings together tradition, art, and the unique genius loci of this exceptional place.

The Jarmila Novotná Festival in Liteň has been organized for fourteen seasons by the non-profit organization Zámek Liteň. In 2025, it prepares a series of events commemorating the Czech soprano Jarmila Novotná, who was among the most radiant figures of the world opera scene in the 20th century.
