The Czech opera stage was represented by the appreciated bass-baritone Adam Plachetka, and permanent guest of the National Theater and Prague State Opera Aleš Briscein, Adriana Kohútková, a soprano, and a permanent guest on the Czech stages represented the Slovak, and Nina Tarandek, a mezzo-soprano from Croatia with the permanent engagement in the Frankfurt Opera represented the international opera stage.  The soloist of the National Theater, soprano Kateřina Kněžíková, who should perform as well, was due to her voice ailment represented by Adriana Kohútková as well as the soprano and soloist of the Vienna State Opera Danielal Fally, who had arrived shortly for this purpose. The stars were to be accompanied by Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Ondrej Lenárd.

The gala concert, which was completely sold out two months before, took place on September 25, 2017, in Dvořák Hall of Rudolfinum, only two days after the actual birth date of Jarmila Novotná. A great Czech moderator Marek Eben hosted the event with his unmistakable annotations and the team of Caban brothers was responsible for the direction, overall organization, and the preparation of a unique stage design.

The opera gala was organized by the Association of Chateau Liteň and Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra. The live broadcasting of the show was provided by the Czech Radio.
