Photographic and Film Materials

In addition to Jarmila Novotná, in 2016 the Association of Chateau Liteň decided to support and celebrate also another prominent and for the Czech culture a very famous person – Jiří Suchý. To pay an appropriate tribute to his 85th jubilee, it has become producers of a documentary called Jiří Suchý: My Fights and Struggles, which was premiered during events organized on September 30, October 1 and 2, 2016 in the Semafor Theater in Prague.

In memory of an evening gala,where the first monograph about Jarmila Novotná named Baroness Opera of the writer Pavel Kosatík was launched and presented, a documentary film was created by a creative producer Vojtěch Kopecký. This evening was held on September 9, 2015 at the Municipal House in Prague.

Thanks to the cooperation of the Chateau Liteň and a young filmmaker Kryštof Raška we can commemorate a Final Concert of Master Class through the film. The concert was held on August 26, 2015 in a historical building Čechovna in Liteň.

Apollo and Daphne (2013) is the title of an opera open air performance, which was held in the castle grounds in the area of Grotta, and his film footage. Its director and creator of the idea is Gonzalo X. Ruiz.

In 2014, we initiated and supported the creation of a documentary of Vojtěch Kopecký called Galaconcert (2014), which is focused on preparations of an unique open air gala concert, which took place on August 30, 2014 in Liteň.

In 2013 Kryštof Raška directed a concert recording of the Galaconcert (2013), which we organized in the chateau grounds in Liteň.

In 2013 a documentary about the festival’s first year was created. It was premiered as part the festival’s second year. The team of student authors Kryštof Raška – Václav Michovský approached the documentary of the festival as a challenge which we were and are very happy to support.

In the future we would like to proceeded to research and in particular the presentation of photographic and film material connected with the life and career of Jarmila Novotná, members of the Daubek family and also documenting the history and present of Liteň’s estate.
